Vesta employs over 1,500 trained and educated professionals providing a wide spectrum of services to residents of more than 300,000 homes in over 800 communities.
SUMMARYResponsible for the safety, welfare and enforcement of gatehouse rules and policies by all residents and guests using the gate facilities.
Assisting the Clubhouse Security staff, referring potential applicants, hiring, training, and scheduling.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESinclude the following:
1.
Manning the Gatehouse, recommending potential applicants, training, and scheduling.
2.
Ensuring the safety and welfare of the residents by monitoring facility conditions which may lead to accidents in and around the gates and common areas.
3.
Writing incident reports and processing according to policy.
4.
Checking decals and passes and assisting at social gatherings to ensure enjoyment by all residents and guests using the facilities and surrounding areas of recreation.
5.
Assisting other departments within the facility when needed, as well as supervising high traffic and congestion areas.
6.
Available for special events parking requirements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This job operates gatehouse with access to traffic.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role requires a lot of standing and walking as well as listening and speaking.
TRAVEL:
No travel is expected for this position.
Qualifications:
1.
Security training and Class D License preferred or willingness to obtain.
2.
High school diploma or GED required5.
Must maintain a professional demeanor under adverse conditions.
